Families are at the center of educational innovation NOW
The APS Department of Innovation, Department of Family Engagement, and the Center for Innovation in Education proposes the formation of a Family Innovation Network in the Jackson Cluster. The Family Innovation Network would help families support learning at home AND to encourage a listening and learning orientation on the part of the district. The network would focus on two core goals: For parents and families: Connect families to learn from each other and support positive practices in learning and healthy development while they are supporting remote learning. For the district: Create a conduit for the district to learn about the innovative practices that arise from families and schools across the district. We will be focusing on families furthest from opportunity, whose insights are critical for addressing issues of equity in the system. INTERESTED? SIGN UP HERE
